Jakob has a training in Mathematics and a PhD from ETH Zurich, studying automatic control applied to living systems. He currently works at National Institute for Research in Computer Science and Control (INRIA) and Institut Pasteur as a permanent researcher. Jakob does research in Systems Biology, Bioinformatics and Biostatistics.
