The current annual Tuition fee for the master's degree is 250€ + 100 € CVEC (Campus Tax - Contribution de Vie Etudiante et de Campus)
Students will need a minimum of 1250€ per month to live decently in Paris (refer to our FAQ for details). It is crucial to have a funding plan for staying in Paris to study under favorable conditions. Depending on the student's project, the AIRE master team can help with advice or reference letters that can be useful to get a scholarship (see below), student housing, etc.
Due to mandatory attendance and participation in courses, seminars, internships and projects scheduled from 09:30 am to 05:00 pm, Monday to Friday, holding a part-time job is hardly feasible.
The AIRE Master students can benefit from several types of scholarships: EURIP Graduate School Scholarships, FBS Scholarships, SMARTS-UP Scholarships are awarded to the most outstanding candidates of the program. Some of these scholarships may be renewed for a second year (M2 level of the AIRE Master).
The EURIP Scholarship is financed by the Investment for the Future Program (PIA3) of the French Government and aims to promote the internationalization of its master's courses and facilitate the reception of the best foreign students. This scholarship rewards exceptional academic merit. It provides financial support to talented EU/overseas students who wish to benefit from interdisciplinary training in the Masters program, leading up to completing a PhD within the FIRE Doctoral School. These students should also be willing to explore new interdisciplinary interfaces to address research questions serving the SDGs.
The recipients receive 1,000€ per month for 10 months after their official registration at Université Paris Cité. This scholarship cannot be combined with any other scholarship. It is awarded for one year, renewable once for the second year of the master's program. Monthly payments are conditional upon class attendance, commitment to the interdisciplinary project of the EURIP Graduate School, and successful completion of the academic requirements.
An additional scholarship, EURIP mobility, can allow outstanding students to settle in France. It is not possible to combine it with other scholarships or to extend it.

For 10 years now, the Foundation has been supporting developments at the Learning Planet Institute (former Center for Research and Interdisciplinarity), starting with the launch of its BMD (Bachelor-Master-Doctorate) curriculum.
