The AIRE Master program (Interdisciplinary Approaches for Research & Education towards Planetary Health) is a unique interdisciplinary Master's degree aimed at students who want to address global challenges related to sustainability and planetary health from various disciplinary perspectives. Offered at the Learning Planet Institute (LPI), the program leverages our extensive international network of leading researchers to deliver a progressive and comprehensive education.
This program goes beyond traditional academic boundaries by integrating disciplines such as Natural Sciences, Physical Sciences, Numerical Sciences, Digital Sciences, and Social Sciences. It includes an in-depth examination of how these fields connect to sustainability and planetary health. Designed to foster a deep understanding of complex data from both living and social systems, the program emphasizes their interactions within environmental contexts.
Students will benefit from experiential learning opportunities, including internships and laboratory work. Throughout the program, participants will develop critical skills in research, analytical thinking, and understanding the social implications of knowledge application. The AIRE Master’s Degree is a national 2-year diploma of Université Paris Cité. The degree is part of the EURIP Graduate School which offers opportunities to continue your postgraduate studies with a 3-year PhD at FIRE Doctoral School for selected applicants.

The Learning Planet Institute campus is located in the heart of the Marais district in Paris. Students studying at the Learning Planet Institute profit from a vibrating ecosystem rich in seminars, research groups, global initiatives about research and education, club activities, and 150 square meters of students' lab space.
The Institute hosts several Citizen Science initiatives and weekly seminars and events, with the scope of promoting quality research and sustainable development in science, education, digital revolution, and planetary health.
